Size your photo to 500 pixels in width (if horizontal) and 600 px tall (if vertical) . Please have it in jpeg form and kept the resolution at 150 dpi.
Include the caption in the email.
Name your photo with the month-year-category abbreviation-place. I.E. If you win third in April's general news, please name your file 04-06-gn3.

For feature multiple pictures, please name them month-year-abbreviation-place-letter. I.E. If you won second in April's feature multiple pictures please name them: 04-06-fmp2a, 04-06-fmp2b, 04-06-fmp2c.

Abbreviations are:

general news - gn
sports - s
feature single picture - fsp
feature multiple picture - fmp
illustration - i
